Аннотация

Узагальнено дані досліджень по вивченню патогенетичних механізмів секрету слинних залоз медичних п›явок, який є важливим продуцентом унікальних біологічних активних речовин (БАР). Ці речовини мають широкий діапазон терапевтичної дії, забезпечуючи виражений протизапальний, бактеріостатичний, бактеріоцидний, фібринолітичний, нейротропний, регенераційний, енергетичний, імуномодуляторний, антисклеротичний ефект, регулюють гомеостаз, систему кровообігу, лімфотоку.
Нами представлено більш ніж 20-річний ефективний досвід застосування гірудотерапії у хворих в оториноларингології з лікувальною, реабілітаційною, оздоровчою метою. Перспективним є подальше вивчення і застосування гірудотерапії як різновиду наруропатії і гомеопатії в XXI столітті розвитку високих технологій, які значно змінюють умови внутрішнього і зовнішнього середовища людей.
